Smart takeaways from community play
Cars fans absolutely crushed the band knowledge questions — 89% correctly named Ric Ocasek as a founding member and 85% nailed 'Drive' as Benjamin Orr's 1984 hit — yet that same crowd split hard on music VIDEO history, with barely half correctly identifying 'You Might Think' as the first-ever MTV VMA Video of the Year winner.
When asked where The Cars formed, 19% of quiz-takers guessed Los Angeles and 15% guessed New York City — meaning more fans sent the band to the wrong coast than correctly placed them in their actual hometown of Boston, which only 63% got right.
